Christmas in Long Beach CA

I am not a Christmas celebrant. Santa, churches and gift exchanges were not part of my life or the culture surrounding me.  There were some small enclaves where people lived to whom Christmas mattered much just as our holidays did to us.  From those people I learned to love the Christmas lights, and the Christmas music.

So this year in this time of Christmas celebration I will be going to both the Shoreline, Long Beach CA 1000 lights boat parade on the 10th and the Naples/Belmont Shore  boat parade on the 17th. I will take a gondola one of these days and views the Chrismas lights of Long Beach from the water.

I will enjoy listening  to the Long Beach Chorale. And for the first time I will wathc The Nutrcracker. The Long Beach Ballet is performing it December 18th. But I will also go to 80 Proof Santa and Sexy Elves on the 10th.  You can find details of the many other Long Beach CA Christmas events here.
